In the spring of this year one of our beloved BMW riders (Phil Dipietro) passed away. He and his wife Cookie were avid riders and could be found at events all over the country. Sadly his wife Cookie is not able to ride anymore either, so their daughter Kellie Richardson has asked for my assistance in liquidating their bikes. Three of them were located in the Pocono’s and one of our members Tony Karas has graciously agreed to host them until they can be sold at his property in Buckingham, PA which makes it much easier for interested folks to take a look at them. Two are ready for sale and after consulting with known experts in the industry we have arrived at what we believe are fair asking prices for them. Kellie is not interested in asking for top dollar, as she would like them to go to a good home and be enjoyed by someone.

2009 R1200GS - The GS is red and is in very good runninging condition. It has all three aluminum cases with locks keyed to match the ignition key with a small dent in the bottom rear portion of the left side case, as can be seen in the pictures. I believe it can easily be bumped out without a lot of effort. The bike has 79,213 miles on it. There is as video of it being started in the link below. The asking price for this machine is $4,300 and we can arrange to for any serious interest to see the bike and go over it. My contact information will be at the end of this email. Kellie has the title in the owners name and the transaction can be handled locally at a tag service. Terms are cash at the time of sale.

2005 Suzuki Bergman Scooter -  The Bergman is blue and has 55,923 miles on it. It starts, runs and performs fine. This is a maxi scooter with 650cc’s and is capable of cruising at highway speeds all day long. It has great storage under the seat and a comfortable riding position. The only damage we see on it is the small end of the left brake lever is broken off but is still serviceable.  Everything on the bike including the brakes work fine, so we believe it would be and easy task to install a new lever. The asking price for this machine is $2,300. Kellie has the title for this machine as well and the terms are the same as for the GS.

If you or someone you know is interested in either of these two machines, I would be happy to arrange to meet you where they are being housed for you to see them. The tags have been removed so they can be sent back to Florida and the insurance has been canceled, so they can not be test ridden but they could be demonstrated for you in the driveway. A couple club members including Todd Trumbore, Tony Karas and myself are just trying to help out Kellie with these sales as she is not a rider. We hauled them down from Cookie and Phil’s place in the Pocono’s and Tony has been gracious enough to house them at his home shop so people can come see them.
